Heavenly Tulip Festival is an annual flower festival wherein you'll see the fields full of 210,000 tulips in front of the World Heritage site, Mt. Fuji. The estimated count for these tulips are almost 210,000.
You can visit the tulips at 2427 Aza Fujiwara, Suyama, Susono, Shizouka. Around 1,200 yen for Seniors and around 800 yen for children are asked as entrance fees. This is a perfect place to relax and unwind from the work's stresses.
In order to reach this heaven in land, take a 20-minute ride from Tomei Expressway Susono Interchange. But if you'll be traveling from the Tomei Expressway Gotemba Interchange, via the Mt. Fuji Skyline or South Outer Road (Oonohara), it would take about 30 minutes. If you are coming from the Chuo Expressway Kawaguchiko Interchange, via the Higashifuji-goko Road, or the Mt. Fuji Skyline, your travel time will be around 60 minutes.
