The Jogasaki Coast is located at the eastern coast of Izu Peninsula in Izu Kogen, which is roughly 9-10 kilometers to the south of Ito's central area.
It has a great 10 km hiking trail that leads to a beautiful view of the town's nature. The jagged cliffs and stone formations in the coast are also quite visually appealing.
Here are the other things to look forward to in Jogasaki Coast:
- Kadokazaki Suspension Bridge (It's 23 meters long and 48 meters high)
- Sightseeing boats
- Clear view of the Oshima Island
Ride a train that will pass the Izu Kogen Station. From there, take the bus that's bound to Kaiyo Koen and get off at Izu Kaiyo Koen (this will usually take 10-15 minutes).
Open from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.
