Last October 2, Japan Jeans Association announced the winners for the 34th Best Jeanist Award 2017 held at New Pier Hall, Minato, Tokyo.
Actress and model Nanao won the Best Jeanist Award for the Women’s Division for the second time, with a total of 20,403 votes. While Yuto Nakajima of Hey! Say! Jump won in the Men’s Division with a total of 28,379 votes.
Aside from Nanao and Yuto Nakajima, other models and celebrities were awarded this year including models Karen Takizawa, Rinka, and actor Tetsuya Bessho.
This year, 116, 206 people across Japan voted for the Best Jeanist Award.
The Best Jeanist Award is an annual event that promotes the jeans consumption in Japan. The Best Jeanist is being awarded to the most well-dressed stars who love jeans.
