Finally, on October 10, the winner for the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2018 (MTV VMAJ 2018) has been announced at the live performance that happened in at Shinkiba STUDIO COAST in Tokyo. Yonezu Kenshi bagged the much awaited Best Video of the Year Award with his song, “Lemon.” The same video has also been announced to be the Best Male Video awardee at an earlier date.
Some of the performers at the said live are MTV VMAJ 2018 Artist of the Year, Daichi Miura; Best New Artist Video awardee, Official HIGE DANdism; Best Choreography awardee, E-girls; Best Hip Hop Video awardee, SKY-HI; Best Group Video awardee, Keyakizaka46; Best Dance Video, BLACKPINK; Best Cinematography awardee, Little Glee Monster; Best Alternative Video awardee, DEAN FUJIOKA; Best Female Video awardee, aiko and an international artist, Anne-Marie, who also won the Best New Artist Video.
