The first ever Dragon Ball fun run will be held this September In Tokyo and Nagoya.
Toei Animation, the anime production company that produced the Dragon Ball series, announced that the two-day Dragon Ball Run will be held on September 10 at Makuhari Kaihin Park in Chiba and on September 23 at Aichi Rinku Beach in Nagoya.
Aside from the fun run, the participants will have a chance to take pictures with Dragon Ball characters using the simulated augmented reality technology. There would also be a promotional activity wherein the participants will find and collect the seven Dragon Balls and have a chance to win special limited-edition gift items.
The original voice actors and actresses of the Dragon Ball anime series will also be on the event.
Ticket price is 6,800 yen for adults and 3,800 yen for children. They also offer a parent-child ticket package which costs 9,800 yen.
The world renowned manga franchise has an ongoing anime series aired by Fuji TV. The latest installment is entitled, Dragonball Super, which was released in July 5, 2015.
