Anyone who enters the theme park, cosplaying Japan’s most-loved pirates, receives a special pumpkin tattoo sticker. This enables them to avail awesome giveaways and discounts from shops inside the park like Café Mugiwara, the One Piece store and other establishments. The sticker also gives one a chance to meet and have a picture with Chopper and the special One Piece Halloween photo booth.

The pumpkin tattoo also qualifies one into the Narikiri or Transformation Cosplay competition, happening every Saturday, starting October 1 to 22. Each participant has their photos taken and displayed at the park.
The contest has also opened a social media leg for fans who cannot go to the park in Tokyo. Those who have wanted to join just took a photo of themselves with their adorable pet animals and plants in costumes. They have posted them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with the official hashtag of the event. The online posting has ended last September 30. Starting October 7, the photos have been displayed inside the park, together with the photos of the participants who joined in the park.
Ballot for the cosplay competition.
The public can now cast their vote on the best One Piece Halloween cosplayer. Those who will get the most number of votes will be invited for the finals on October 29, wherein winners can take home a kilo of Kumamoto’s Wagyu beef, a DVD set of One Piece Log collection Vol. 1-5 and a handwritten congratulatory letter from One Piece’s creator, Eiichiro Oda!
The limited edition One Piece Halloween mug.
Limited edition One Piece Halloween merchandises are also available at the stores inside the park. Also, in the duration of the Halloween festival, those who are 60 years old and above are free of admission.
