Minakami Outdoor Festival, the biggest event for outdoor adventure sports in Japan will bring an outdoor adventure experience and fun performances once again on June 8 to June 10 at Mizukikohan.

The Minakami Outdoor Festival, Mofest for short started in Minakami in 2003. It brings professionals and amateur adventure enthusiasts together, drawing people from 2000 to 5000 people each year.

There are three highlights of the said event. The first one is the outdoor competition, wherein top athletes of outdoor adventure race compete in rafting, stand up paddle, river boarding race and others. The next one is the adventure experience, wherein outdoor experiences, from mini-adventures to real deal adventures are offered. The last one are the performances,  wherein some of the world’s top outdoor adventure athletes display their expertise on the main grounds.

There will also be a Saturday night event, wherein live music, outdoor fashion show, craft beer garden, and night performances from MTB trials and slackline athletes will happen to keep the vibe alive.
