Japan’s Kawaii Princess, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu hyped up the Jpop stage at the last day of the Moshi Moshi Nippon Festival on Sunday, November 27 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium in Shibuya. Kyary, wearing a bright red costume, performed the remix of Kira Kira Killar, Candy Candy, Pon Pon Pon and Ninjyari Ban Ban. Her performance of Tsukematsukeru became one of the most applauded due to its popularity overseas.

Other notable names who performed were the electronica duo, Capsule, and the pop dance group, Tempura Kidz.
Moshi Moshi Nippon Festival, a four-day annual event, which started last November 24, aimed to promote and introduce Japanese culture, primarily music, fashion, food and others, to the world. Because of this, foreigners got free passes to the event by registering to the event’s official website.
The first part of the festival is the Moshi Moshi Nippon Symposium, held on November 24 to 25. Well-known celebrities and cultural figures came to share their success stories, in terms of their craft and business. Many opportunities and interactions were opened in the said talk.
The last two days featured live performances, fashion shows and workshops. The fashion show was made in cooperation of popular magazines such as mer, KERA, Zipper and HR. There were also hands-on booths on traditional Japanese culture like calligraphy, origami, kimono-wearing and Japanese instruments.

Japanese food were also present in the event like the Japanese Utsunomiya Gyoza, Sirloin Steak Beef Cutlet, Sakaiminato Fisherman’s Crab Miso soup and many more.
There were also booths on prayer and wish cards. Numerous clothing shops also joined the festivities. Two booths were made by AEON, Asia’s number one premiere retailer.
