One of the largest Drone and UAV Industrial expo will be held in Japan starting April 18 to 20 at the Makuhari Messe Convention Center in Chiba Prefecture.

The International Drone Expo 2018 will be a 3-day event that aims to exhibit the advancing trends and features, as well as introduce the latest innovation for the unmanned aircraft technology.

Drone, or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), proved itself as the technology able to provide solutions in different sectors such as Agriculture, Wildlife Conservation, Search and Rescue, Law Enforcement and even Environmental Protection. 

The Expo will be a combination of demonstration and symposium, with the estimated 130 booths of 80 companies displaying new software and services for the practical usage of drones.

Over 8,000 visitors are expected, with experts and specialists in the crowd from fields such as development and design, manufacturing, and procurement, as well as academic researchers.  

The event will showcase the growing industry of the flexible technology, focusing on the commercial application of drones for construction, fire prevention, factory, logistics and many more.

The IDE 2018 will be on display from 10:00am to 5:00 pm, giving visitors the chance to watch the drone demonstration flights and to interact directly with the engineers of exhibiting manufacturers.
