Hibiya park in Chiyoda City, Tokyo Japan unfolds its Hibiya Park Christmas Market 2017 on December 15, 2017. It is going to be a 10-day event, which lasts until Christmas day, 25th of December.
The main attraction of the market is a huge 14-meter Christmas pyramid, imported from Dresden City in Germany. The market has a European-style setting with more than 20 different stalls. The market features food and drinks, as well as seasonal goods and gift items. Hibiya even includes some live music and lights for that perfect Christmas feel.
The fare mostly includes French and German goods, with plenty of sausages, roasted meats, potatoes and pretzels. Drinks are also German-inspired, together with different varieties of beer. You will also find Japanese booths that feature a few games, traditional handicraft items, Japanese fair food (tako-yaki, yaki-soba, okonomiyaki, etc.), and a wide variety of sake, or Japanese wine, available for tasting. There is also a workshop corner for kids with different crafting activities.
The market opens daily from 11am to 10 pm. Hibiya Park is accessible from Tokyo Station and Ginza areas.
