Experience a much bigger Tokyo Game Show as Japan’s largest video game conference happens again at Makuhari Messe this coming September 20 to 23.
Tokyo Game Show or TGS was first held in 1996, attracting more visitors each year. This time, Tokyo Game Show 2018 is set to bring you more booths and exhibitors, stage events, activities, fan service, cosplay, and freebies than those of before. The theme for this year’s TGS is “The curtain rises for a new stage.” The visual theme, on the other hand is “eSports” and was made and designed again by Ippei Gyoubu, who worked on the past year’s main visual.
Big names in the video game industry will be there as well, including, Namco Bandai, Capcom, Sony Computer Entertainment and Square Enix. The organizers are also giving overseas exhibitors and indie game developers a chance to showcase their works. Even universities will have booths to exhibit some student creations.
The first two days of the said event are for industry and press members only, and the remaining 2 days will be open to the public. Expect test-play games from smartphone games to console games from all the major game publishers, console makers and mobile gaming platforms. For those who are not gamers, there are still plenty of entertaining stuff, including cosplayers on the act.
Tickets are available through their official website.
