The 45th Tokyo Motor Show, under the theme “Beyond the Motor,” will be held from October 27 to November 5, 2017 at Tokyo Big Sight, Koto-ku, Tokyo.
The official ceremony day on October 27 will be led by Her Imperial Highness Princess Yohko of Mikasa. The event will be open to the general public on October 28.
This year, the 14 automobile manufacturers of Japan will each exhibit 15 of their finest vehicle masterpieces. The exhibition includes passenger cars, commercial vehicles, carrozzeria, motorcycle vehicle bodies, vehicle bodies and parts, machinery and tools, and other automobile-related services.
The event will also host the Tokyo Connected Lab 2017, which has three programs that lets the visitors experience and reflect on the future of mobility. The three programs include: The Future (Visualizing mobility in the Tokyo of the Future); The Maze (Connecting with a futuristic Tokyo); and The Meet Up (Exchanging ideas about the future of mobility).
The Tokyo Motor Show is organized by the Japan Automobile Manufacturer Association, Inc. (JAMA).
