The Yokohama International Passenger Terminal sure looks like a video game fortress waiting to be launched. Having such an elegant design, the place is actually one of Japan's main docking point for luxury cruise ships.
In the year 1995, this futuristic establishment was designed by the Foreign Office Architects (FOA). Representing innovations in the transportation industry, the terminal was designed by husband and wife, Farshid Moussavi and Alejandro Zaera-Polo to . The massive project, around 430 meters long took around 8 years to complete. The estimated budget of the project was around £150 million. It was launched to the public in 2002.
