A jaw-dropping fireworks display is one of the highlights of summer in Japan. Most of the fireworks exhibition are held on open spaces. However, a neighborhood in Japan was able to devise a plan on how to give tourists and travellers some hanabi (fireworks) display without the need for a vast open area.
The Nihonbashi neighborhood created the minamo fireworks, with the first word literally meaning, "water's surface." Instead of being launched to the sky, the wonderful firework creations are projected to the walkways among the buildings of the Coredo Muromachi entertainment center in Tokyo.
The show is from 6 to 11 in the evening.
