When it comes to high-rises in Japan, it is not only Tokyo that will come to one's mind. Osaka also has a lot of high-rise buildings to compete with the architecture of Tokyo.

Featured in the picture is the Umeda Sky Building. Located in the Kita district of Osaka Prefecture, the building is around 173 meters tall. What made this establishment different from the others is that its twin towers is joined by an observatory. Known as the Floating Garden Observatory, the place connects the building on the 39th floor. The site features an all-glass and an open-air observation deck where travelers can have a 360 degree panoramic view of the city of Osaka.
