At a first glance, you may think that transparent toilets are crazy since it deprives occupants of the privacy. But these toilets' glass screen become opaque once the user locks the door. The main innovator behind this high-tech toilet is the Nippon foundation that aims to make toilets easier to assess if it's dirty or not. The architect was Shigeru Ban who is the same designer of emergency toilets for disaster areas. The invention also adds the advantage of knowing if the bathrooms were occupied or not.
