Located in the Shiba-koen district in the ward of Minato in Tokyo, the Tokyo Tower is one of the urban icons of Japan's present-day capital. Standing at a height of 332.9 meters, the Tokyo Tower is actually an Eiffel-inspired structure, serving as a communications and observation tower in the city. The tower's color is the standard white and international orange, to abide with the aviation safety rules. The tower is constructed in 1958 and has since been creating tourism revenues for Tokyo. It has two observatories, giving travelers a panoramic 360 degree view of the city at a height of 150 meters and 250 meters.
