It can be considered as one of the busiest railway stations in one of the busiest cities of Japan. The Tokyo Station serves the Japanese people and a lot of travelers in its base at the Marunouchi district of Chiyoda. The bricked-structure is located near the Imperial Palace and Ginza, which is known as Tokyo's commercial district. It is estimated that over 3000 train rides a day are being served at the Tokyo Station. It also runs a shinkansen line and some regional communter lines of the Japan Railways. It also serves the Tokyo Metro network.
