Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is located at Shinjuku. Often called Tocho by the Japanese, this building houses the headquarters of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government which governs the 23 wards of Tokyo, its towns and villages that form the Tokyo Metropolis.
The person behind the state-of-the-art design of this building is architect Kenzo Tange, with three structures, made to look like a computer chip. The building has free observation decks where you can see the panoramic views of Tokyo, Mount Fuji, Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower, Meiji Shrine and the Tokyo Dome.
This view on the picture is captured during the night, which is the popular time of the day to catch the night views of the city.
