Tod’s Omotesando Building is truly a striking sight.
Located in Shibuya-kyu, Tokyo, Japan, the building was designed by architect Toyo Ito. The construction started in 2002 and finished two years after in 2004.
The idea behind the building was the concept behind promoting luxury brands: making the “packaging” nicer. This is why Tod’s Building, the home of brands such as Gucci, Prada, and Burberry was made to look as enticing as the products it houses.
The building’s concrete and glass architecture were made to mimic the trees that line the streets where it is located.
