Would you like to guess where the design for this museum is based? According to the designers of the National Museum of Art, it is based on the growth and shape of the take or the bamboo plant. Located in two underground floors in the Nakanoshima Island, the museum houses a variety of contemporary works of art, not only from Japanese artists but also from any other artist from around the world. The exhibits were initially located in the Expo Museum of Fine Arts, which was constructed for the Osaka Expo in the year 1970.
