The photo features an architectural work by Ryue Nishizawa. This is part of the Teshima Art Museum located in the city of Takamatsu in Kagawa Prefecture. Joining architect Ryue Nishizawa in designing the area is Japanese artist Rei Naito, who both worked in the establishment for the Setouchi International Art Festival, probably the biggest in Japan, in 2010. Being located in Takamatsu Port, the open gallery actually has this 25-centimeter thick structure, in the shape of a shell and made of concrete. It has two ellipticcal openings wherein people can enter and exit.
