The little replica of Lady Liberty in Odaiba Statue of Liberty gives you the taste of New York City in Japan. It may look large in photos but its actual size is about 1/7th of the original Statue of Liberty in New York.

The statue It is placed in front and overlooks the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Bay with a height of 12.25 meters and weighs 9 tons.

The Odaiba Statue of Liberty is built in 1998 as a temporary tribute to Japan's relationship with France, making it a symbol of Japan-France friendship. Since it becomes popular, it was made a permanent feature in 2000. But it's not the only replica of Lady Liberty, there are two more exist in Shimoda and Osaka.
