Winter came early in Tokyo last November 24, 2016. In fact it has been hailed as the first November snow after more than 50 years. Hence, it was initially anticipated that Spring 2017 would also come a bit early.

On March 21, the Japan Meteorological Agency officially announced that spring has started in Japan. But April has already started and the cherries has not fully bloomed yet, because the temperature is still winter-like, dropping as low as 3 degrees celsius. It seems like the flowers has only woke up from hibernation on the second week of April.

But no matter when these flowers come out, they still never fail to amaze all the people who came to visit. Here is a photo by Instagram user @SheenSeeckts when she travelled to Japan.
