Senso-ji is Japan's most popular temple. This place is recognized for the mood it brings to ists visitors which translates to having beautiful photographs.
This Buddhist temple is built in the year 645 at Asakusa, Tokyo's leading entertainment district. Hence, considered as the oldest temple in the nation's capitol. The compound consists of two gates (with Kaminarimon being a symbol of Asakusa), a beautiful five-story pagoda, and the temple itself. Outside of it lies the variety of shops in Nakamise street, as well as the Edo era-themed Dempoin street, and the Sumida River.
Senso-ji is just a 12-minute train ride from the Tokyo Station.
