Opened in 2011 in Aichi Prefecture, the SCMAGLEV and Railway Park is a train museum featuring 39 actual-sized railway vehicles, one real bus exhibit, train cab simulators, and railway model dioramas.
It houses one of Japan's oldest trains, the Class HoJi 6005 steam railcar, built in 1913 by Kisha. Here also lies one of the oldest Japanese bullet trains: the 0 Series car, a Shinkansen train built in 1971. There is also the Class Ke 90 steam locomotive, a 1918 train from the Nagoya Training Centre. This train is displayed outside. Other automobiles are also exhibited here like locomotives, electric railcars, diesel railcars, steam railcars, and passenger carriages, which have aided mankind ever since the Industrial Revolution.
This museum in Nagoya was appreaciative of the train otakus and travelers who came and visited the place that on January 29, 2012, they celebrated the one millionth visitor of the museum.
