Being the home court of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, the Sapporo Dome has been giving thousands of baseball fans a venue to enjoy Japan's beloved sport. Located in Hitsujigaoka, Toyohira Ward, city of Sapporo, Hokkaido Prefecture, the place opened to the public in 2001. With a capacity of more thank 40,000 seats, the dome does not only accommodate baseball but also football games. It has three fields that host the games. The left and right fields are around 100 meters in size. The middle is around 122 meters.

The place is said to have been already booked for the 2017 Asian Winter Games, 2019 Rugby World Cup and the 2020 Summer Olympics.
