Being the home country of one of the world's most famous cats, of course, Japan has a full theme park dedicated just for Hello Kitty.
Located in Tama New Town in Tokyo Prefecture, the Sanrio Puroland opened in 1990, run by the same company owning the famous cat icon. But Hello Kitty is not the only character that brings smiles to children and young-at-hearts inside the park. There are also attactions for other Sanrio characters like My Melody, Cinnamoroll, Jewelpet, Keroppi, Badtz Maru and other kawaii or cute icons from Japan.
