Located in the Roppongi district of Minato Ward, Tokyo, the hills project is one of the largest integrated property developments. It had been such an innovation that the architecture and development process had been documented in a book, entitled, Six Strata: Roppongi Hills Redefined.

Managed by one of Japan's most influential real estate property and building tycoons, the Roppongi Hills is owned by Minoru Mori. The urban complex has office spaces, cafes, restaurants, residential apartments, a museum, a hotel, a TV studio, an outdoor amphitheatre and some parks in its keeping.
