Osaka is not only known for the castle, Universal Studios Japan or the Japanese pancake, okonomiyaki.
Located in the Minato Ward of Osaka, Japan, the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is said to be one of the largest public aquariums in the world, having 27 tanks made of 314 tonnes (346 tons) of acrylic glass, enclosing around 10,941 tons of salted water. Being a member of the Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums (JAZA), the aquarium houses a variety of sea creatures that will surely make your visit worth the effort, the time and of course, the money.
