Also known as the Nebuta no Ie Wa Rasse in Japan, the museum is all about the Nebuta Matsuri in Aomori Prefecture. The summer festival is held annually and is associated with the great and colorful floats bearing warrior-like figures.
The Nebuta Warasse Museum, in order to be aligned with the festivities, is decorated with glorious-looking red metal sheets. The red color aims to maintain the blissful spirit of the featival. In line with this photos from the 300 years of the Nebuta Matsuri are exhibited from the second floor of the museum. Red goldfish lanterns also adorn the interiors of the museum, together with recorded taiko drums, flutes and voice plays for a more Nebuta Matsuri feel.
