Naoshima is one of Japan's art island known for gigantic art sculptures. The other art islands are Teshima and Inujima. One of the visible sculpture is Yaoi Kusama's whimsical and famous Pumpkin. You can find stunning architectural pieces of Tadao Ando, Chichu art museum, Lee Ufan Museum, colorful galleries, cafes, and installations. A famous landmark includes Niki de Saint Phalle's sculptures. Naoshima Island is located within Seto Inland Sea and between the urban areas of Tamano (north) and
Takamatsu (south).
