Nageiredo or the Nageire Hall is a Buddhist temple built 1,000 years ago in Misasa, Tohoku District in Tottori Prefecture. The temple is located at the rear of mount Mikoku and stood under the cave of a hard cliff.
Because of its structure and historic value, Nageiredo is recorded as a natural treasure of Japan and considered as the most dangerous temple. Before you step inside this place, you’ll need to climb through the cliffs and pass through mountain roads which require you to wear comfortable climbing clothes and shoes. The trail takes 1 hour to reach Nageiredo.
