Mount Dainichi is the mountain that has been a fantastic substitute for those who doesn't have experience or skills for climbing the peaks of the Kita Alps.

It is located in the cities of Gujo and Takayama in Gifu, Prefecture in Japan near the Nagara River, Sho River and Kuryu River. These rivers are the spots where the rain that falls from the mountain flows.

Mount Dainichi is still a part of the Ryohaku Mountains with a height of 1, 709 m (5, 507 ft). This could be the perfect peak for absolute beginners because there is no chains nor ladders or vertiho-inducing cliff faces.
