Being a park located in the city of Sapporo in the cold prefecture of Hokkaido, the Moerenuma Park is simply best enjoyed during winter.

The photo featured the park at night, when the white snow is lighted with different pastel-colored lights, the view was just magnificent. Being a municipal park of the town of Higashi, the area actually has creative playground equipment to satisfy each child. It also has a sports field. There are also art exhibitions by Japanese-American artist, Isamu Noguchi. Because of this, the park has actually won the Good Design Award in 2002.
