Yes, sakura or cherry blossoms are not the only flowers in Japan.

There is park called the Michinoku Park, located near the city of Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture and is also near the neighboring prefecture of Yamagata. The park is planted with different kinds of flowers that bloom particularly in each season, making the park a must-see travel destination whichever season you choose to travel to Japan. Aside from the perfect landscaping of the flowers, the place also offers vast open fields for children to play onto. The place also offers a view of some historical homes.
