The Metropolitan Gymnasium is located at 1 Chome-17-1 Sendagaya, Tokyo, Japan. It is a world-class sporting complex which was built in 1954 for the world wrestling Championship. It was also used as the venue for gymnastics for the Summer Olympics 1964.
After 54 years, the same are will be used again for the Summer Tokyo Olympics 2020. It was built out of the futuristic design by Pritzker Prize winner Fumihiko Maki. It would only take a minute to walk from Sendagaya Stationto to the Metropolitan Gymnasium.
