This is Japan's mini Scotland. Welcome to Lockheart Castle.
The Lockheart castle is from a Scottish family with a history of 690 years. Lockheart was a famed knight who served the independent king Robert Blues. The Lockheart castle was constructed in honor of him in Edinburgh in 1829. In 1988, the Lockheart castle was transported from Scotland to Japan. It was the first European castle to be restored in Japan. It was an effort from actor Masahiko Tsugawa. The Lockheart Castle is now a theme park in Gunma. It is open every day from 9AM to 5PM.
