The Fuji Five Lakes are the lakes surrounding the majestic icon of the Land of the Rising Sun, Mount Fuji. The five lakes are composed of the Lake Kawaguchi, Lake Motosu, Lake Sai, Lake Shoji, and Lake Yamanaka. The last one is considered to be the largest of them all. It is also considered to be the second most developed lake, only after Lake Kawaguchiko. It is considered "developed because of the hotels, camping grounds, restaurants and other recreational facilities along the shores of the lake. These facilities are competing to give each traveler the best view of Japan's most renowned mountain.
