Isetan is a department store based in Tokyo. The retail company was founded by Tanji Kosuge, now called Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd., after a merge in 2008. Isetan’s flagship store in Shinjuku is praised for being the first to showcase what’s new and trending. From latest fashion to the new products, Isetan is considered as one of the most influential department stores, particularly in the food and fashion aspect. Aside from the Shinjuku store, there are also stores in Fuchu, Tachikawa, Matsudo, Sagamihara and Saitama. It is also known internationally as it has branches in different parts of Asia such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and multiple stores in China.
