The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park has always reminded the Japanese people of the hope after the war. Located in Hiroshima prefecture, the park was planned by Japanese Architect Kenzo Tange to remind the people of the world about cruelties of nuclear attacks.
The most notable part of the park is the A-Bomb Dome, as depicted in the photograph. It is said to be the closest building in the very center of the nuclear explosion. But the building has been restored because of a very important reason. Amidst being at the center of the attack, it survived and remained standing until the end. Thus it has been a symbol of courage and hope after the war.
