The English term "castle" is now not only referring to the great residential houses of the Western royalties, but has now been also designated as a term to the kind of big, luxurious houses of Japan. Introducing the Hirosaki Castle of northern Japan.

One of the most celebrated castles in Japan is located in the now city of Hirosaki in Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Also known as the Takaoka Castle, this luxurious house was the former residence of the Tsugaru clan, a family of samurais and daimyos during feudal Japan. They used to rule the ancient Mutsu province of Japan, which is now the city of Hirosaki.
