Castles in Japan are enjoyed by a lot of travelers during the day, which gives tourists a different view with each season. But these castles are not only beautiful during the day, but also gives a different spiritual feeling at night.

Featured in the photo is the Himeji Castle. Located in the city of Himeji, Hyogo prefecture, the Himeji Castle is considered to be one of the best examples of the prototypical traditional Japanese castle architecture, which still exists today. Consisting of around 83 buildings in its compound, the Himeji Castle is even equipped with an advanced defensive system used by the daimyos during feudal Japan.
