The Hase Temple, also known as the Hasedera, is a place known for housing as eleven-headed statue of Kannon, or the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy. It stands around 9.18 meters tall, and considered as one of the largest surviving wooden sculptures in Japan. It is being housed at the Kannon-do Hall, the temple's main building. It is said that the this statue has been sculpted out of the wood from the same tree that produced another revered Kannon statue located in Nara's Hasedera Temple.

Facilitated by the Jodo sect of Buddhism, the place is situated in the seaside city of Kamakura in Kanagawa Prefecture.
