Fushimi Inari-Taisha is a head shrine located in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. It's the most visited shrine in the country as tourists flock to the place to admire the wooded forest, the torii gates, and the walkthrough into the wooded forest of Mt. Inari. The site's history tells that it was established in 711 A.D (medieval period) and soon after, throughout the turn of hundreds of centuries, people gathered to pray for business, family and home safety, bountiful harvest and for the fulfilment of other wishes. The place hosts a number of events and festivals.
