Youtuber and traveler, Mikey Chen, went from Tokyo, Japan to the city of Kobe. He boarded the shinkansen at the Shinagawa Station with a business-class ticket. On his way back from Kobe to Tokyo, he got an economy-class ticket. In this video, he compares the facilities of both areas of the train: from the seats, to the toilets, and others. There was also a short insert of Rurouni Kenshin and Makoto Shishio from the anime, Rurouni Kenshin.

The shinkansen is said to be one of the fastest trains in the world, running with a speed of 240–320 km/h (150–200 mph).
