Daisen Park is a huge Japanese style garden located in Sakai, Osaka. The park has mountain hills, waterfalls, and ponds where people can wander. It also boasts a large playground and kids facilities where children can play, library, gardens, and Kofun, the mausoleum of Emperor Nintoku which is one of the three largest tombs in Japan. Its facilities and natural resources made people come and spend their weekends at the park. It also has a museum where the history and culture of Sakai city can be seen.
The Japanese garden on the image is a historic garden as it symbolizes the friendship between Sakai and Renunko city in China and built to commemorate the 100 years of Sakai City.
Because of its features, Daisen Park is included in the 100 best parks with history. It is also one of the best Sakura spots in Japan where 400 cherry trees bloom during the spring season.
