Chiba Zoological Park is located in Chiba Prefecture. The zoo began to operate for the fist time in April 1985. Now, there are 7 different areas in the zoo that you can visit and enjoy.

The Zoological Hall is where you can see the various species from the tropical rain forest. You can see Futa, the red panda that became a TV celebrity in 2005 in the small animal zone. In the Steppe Zone, you can see the herbivore animals like elephants, giraffes, and zebras.

Other areas are the Children's Zoo, Monkey Zone, Ancestors of Domestic Animal Zone, and the Avian and Aquatic Zone.
