Japan is a good country to travel to if your are looking for not-so-typical kinds of museums.

Archi-Depot is Japan's only architectural model museum. Japan is home to one of a kind architectural designs and Archi-depot is the home for its models. Instead of throwing them away, why not keep them all under one roof?

The museum director, Yuta Tokunaga, personally went door to door, asking and collecting models from architects. Also, asking them to help him put the museum to life. It became successful, having been opened in 2016.

Archi-Depot now displays and preserves the works of Japan's leading architects.
