The tropical island of Aogashima boasts of its scenic view of lush greens, surrounded by cliffs and the glittering Pacific. Surprisingly, the tropical island is considered a part of Tokyo, the city being only around 360 kilometers away. While considered as the most isolated inhabited island of the Izu archipelago, there are tons of things to do here such as fishing, hiking, camping and swimming. 

Become one with nature as the island’s volcano provides hot springs and natural sauna. Drink under the stars with the local Shochu. The villagers and the island’s natural wonders will make for a peaceful but fun vacation.
